EXCURSION FUN

IMG-20171003-WA0008

In the pursuit of wholesome development for children, we planned another excursion of 7 days to Manali, Shimla and Chandigarh. 62 children had registered for the tour, six teachers and two tour operators accompanied them.  They visited Rock Garden and Sukhna lake in Chandigarh.  Children were amazed at the man-made mazes in the Rock Garden.  Then they proceeded to Manali by road.  In Manali, the kids were excited to see Snow Point.  The chill in the air got them thrilled and the feel of snowfall for a couple of minutes was indeed something they will cherish for their entire life.  The ride to Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley and the stunning array of overwhelming views kept the kids enthralled throughout. They also got to visit Hadimba temple and Vasishta  Maharshi temple tucked in the sylvan surroundings. From Manali, after another long and spectacular ride, they reached Shimla.  This was followed by some sight-seeing and shopping in Mall road.  All in all, the children got to see the bounty of nature in all its variety; river Beas in full flow, waterfalls everywhere, the apple orchards, the high mountains, the deep valleys, fresh and pure oxygen, the clear clouds and the mist that almost touched their faces!!  The weather was just perfect throughout the trip.

It was indeed a memorable trip for Suchitrans especially for Grade 10!!!
