FIELD TRIP TO THE FIRE STATION
To extend the knowledge to our children about ‘ fire fighters’ – a very important community helpers, a field trip was organised on Friday, 8th September, to
‘Paradise- Fire Station’. Our children got first-hand experience on fire safety. They watched how fire-fighters use their fire trucks in an emergency. The fire-fighters showed different equipments used by them and demonstrated the use of a fire extinguisher. Children were thrilled and were full of curious questions, which were answered by the fire fighters. It was a fun filled, informative experience.
ENLIGHTENING INTRODUCTION TO – ‘PEOPLE WHO HELP US’
Creating a general awareness about our environment and society is an integral part of kindergarten education. An enlightening competition was held for Jr. KG children on Monday, 11th September, on ‘People who help us’. Children came aptly dressed, with a prop of their choice and enthusiastically talked about their favourite community helper. Many of them were dressed up as fire-fighters, doctors and policemen. The students were judged on content, confidence and memorization.
The activity not only made them fervent learners, but also opened a new window of awareness about the people around us, and the many ways in which they contribute.
The colour beige is neutral, calm and relaxing. On Friday, 15th September, our youngsters celebrated ‘Beige Day’. It was a very enjoyable day as all the children were dressed up in beige colour. They enjoyed all the various interesting activities that were carried out based on the beige colour.

Beautiful it was, for a while
Until I ran out
Out of air
Deformed, I thought I was
Tiny, fragile and barren
Gasping for air
Just a little bit
So I can live that one second longer
Ephemeral, not something I wanted to be
I gave it all I had
Every joule of energy
All of my frail heart
And all of me
I saw the halo
And I knew
The time has come
Happy, ever after
